This beautiful piece was a vision I had and I asked Prisoner at the time Sambo to draw it as he saw the image.
My dream was if we live life 'inside the cross of faith' we would not suffer the life outside the cross. I feel he did a spectacular creation.
All Sambo's skulls have 'grilles'
He drew himself at the top of the piece inside the cross.with family, love, faith and future.
Outside the cross is sin, funerals of homies. violence and the Reaper.
Sambo was one of the first contributors to the collection from way back in the 90"s.
Today after three decades, he's a free man living his dreams.
